As youngsters, we loved the complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres every evening, coffee and danish in the library, and full breakfast at Circa 1886. The staff was attentive and friendly.

I adored the grand entrance, library, parlour, sunroom, and copula with stunning views. The renovated mansion offered a "Downton Abbey" experience with a touch of American charm. The rooms were luxurious, with spacious bedrooms, sitting rooms, dressing rooms, and bathrooms with jacuzzis and double showers. The staff provided impeccable service and the restaurant, Circa 1886, had top-notch food. The hotel was situated in a peaceful area but still a short drive to downtown Charleston.

I was greeted with warm hospitality and given valuable tips for making the most of my stay. The room exceeded my expectations, with its spaciousness, cozy fireplace, and luxurious amenities. The breathtaking views of the city from the top of the spiral staircase were truly unforgettable. The staff's attentiveness continued throughout my stay, offering beach chairs and towels, a library for leisurely reading, and refreshments all day. Although the associated restaurant may not have been the standout dining experience, the impeccable service and special birthday celebration for my wife made it memorable. The location of the inn was ideal, providing easy access to Charleston's attractions and the surrounding islands. I highly recommend this inn for its southern charm, excellent service, and unmatched ambiance.

I recently stayed at a stunning historic mansion in Charleston. The location was perfect, close to all the major tourist sites and even the surrounding islands. It was nestled in a residential neighborhood, which added to its charm and gave it a quiet atmosphere away from the main tourist routes. The room I stayed in was spacious and luxurious with a large bathroom and comfortable bedding. The staff provided exceptional service and the breakfast at the on-site restaurant was delicious. the mansion offered a unique and memorable experience.

The only downside was that the bath areas could use some updating or upgrading.
